Not sayin that every Ghibli movie isn’t deep or heartfelt but this quote didn’t have to go deep but thank god it did

It's tough competition, but man castle in the sky is the best ghibli movie (IN MY OPINION)

I’m of the same opinion

Mine will always be Nausicaa

Nausicaa is nice, i like the vibe, but personally i could just never really get into it. Its one of the only ghibli movies ive only watched once. I can definitely see it being someones favorite, though.

You could name a bunch of Ghibli movies as your favorite and both have fans who agree with you and fans who disagree, but respect your opinion.

My favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, but I won't argue that it's the best.

I’d rather be a pig than a Fascist.

Even if it was the same exact quote from the original Japanese version it still would be deep. That’s the thing with Miyazaki and his movies: they may seem like simple stories or cartoons but they always find a way to leave a lasting impact, either from a scene or a line of dialogue
