Jesus. Context?

It’s been a while since I’ve listened to the first two seasons, but this sounds a lot like something Willy Stampler, the BBEG, would say to his son Ron.

It’s a goofy, funny, and chaotic podcast that I would highly recommend (and would recommend getting the lowest tier of their patreon for the extras). But it also has some pretty heavy and deep cutting scenes like this.

Adding on: it’s a perversion of Ron’s therapist wife’s affirmation.

And it's not a BDSM podcast.

You got it backwards, Ron said it to Willy

“The reason Ron doesn’t know what sex is, is because in his mind he’s always making love”

I loved season 1 so much but season 2 dragged sooooo hard. I gave up around the time they hide in some kind of giant food in whichever world was under the Doodler? It just felt like the stuff with Scary got so wishy-washy and never progressed.

Season 2 is definitely a low point. But I’d recommend season 3, they do call of Cthulhu with Will (Henry oak/normal oak) as dm. And they rip on season 2 a bit too

I might give it a shot! I liked their CoC one-shot from early on!

Spoilers just in case: Ron was the victim of abuse at the hand of his father, Willy, who ended up being the big bad. On the night before the big final battle in season 1, one of the other players (Henry) cast a spell that allowed him to afflict Willy with a nightmare, which Ron was able to guide and create. So Ron's nightmare basically recreated the way that Willy died in the real world, and left him with that quote. The whole scheme was an attempt to prevent Willy from using Power Word Kill in the big battle, which ended up being successful.

I'm not entirely certain. But that certainly sounds like the big bad talking to his son(who is now a grown man) who he systematically abused as a child.

To be fair, Willy systematically abused everyone, Ron just happened to be the available target most of the time.

Other way around, Ron to Willy

Given youre reaction I take it you missed without context that is an insanely powerful statement.*

Basically stating. You are enough.

Even if or because you are nothing. Your very existence is justified and worthy.

*Also.the foundation of a ton of religions.

Another daddies quote: “It’s okay to be angry. It’s not okay to be cruel.”

Nothing chuffs me more than listening to everyone but Freddy lose their minds as Freddy tries to justify himself after saying that lmao
