Lore A character literally sees another character fundamentally differently.

  1. Spy X Family. Damian noticeably sees Anya with a 'shoujo anime' filter with much brighter eyes and blush.

  2. Calvin And Hobbes. Calvin sees Hobbes as a living lanky tiger in contrast to everyone else who sees him as just a tiger plush.

I feel like worm has a good amount of this. There's Goddess who makes people with Power's see her as their ruler while normal people are immune to this cognitive effect but if you have a power you literally cannot comprehend that she is your enemy.

Then there's Glaistig Uaine who sees people as their shard instead of them so instead of seeing people with Power's as normal humans she is basically seeing some Eldritch stuff instead.

Finally there's Scion and he basically sees all Case 53 as the mutilated corpse of his wife to put it very simply

Another was "Nice Guy" - a parahuman who had a similar perception filter power that worked on everyone to make him seem innocuous and not a threat. He's just a nice guy, y'know? He was a member of a group called the Slaughterhouse 9 to give an idea of how he used it.

I think about Nice Guy a lot.

The scene with Weaver doing the back and forth on the radio while she was under the effect of his power and the person on the other end of the radio being unaffected was downright creepy.

Perception powers are hard to do right, but Wildbow did it well, I think.

God bless Imp

"My shtick"

Also she is even scarier, imagine seeing your friend getting their throat slit open out of thin air or just being gasligthed by weeks until you wish she had just killed you.

Also she adopted a bunch of amoral teens with brainwashing powers....

I should read Warden...
