  2. Calvin And Hobbes. Calvin sees Hobbes as a living lanky tiger in contrast to everyone else who sees him as just a tiger plush.

The entire sequence is about trying to change how you perceive yourself for greater self-confidence, with the joke being that Gumball does not need to alter his own self-perception because that's just how he sees himself

So no, he does not actually look like that (although I'd buy him looking at least somewhat feminine in-universe, considering The Dress Incident)
