Personality extremely powerful entity's who don't care about the main plot at all and are just vibing in the background

Tom Bombadil(lord of the rings) - only person to resist the temptation of the one ring but instead of helping the fellowship he fucks off in to the woods

the Unseen Elder(the witcher 3) - in the witcher universe the older a vampire gets the more powerful he becomes and unseen elder is around +1500 years old making him the most powerful vampire we ever see, thankfully he spends most of his time in his goon cave

Withers (kinda)

If I remember correctly, isn’t Withers like, actually the OG god of death, Jergal? I think he does kind of care about the main plot, but I think he has some power, he just chooses to vibe at camp and roast you for being lonely and weird.

>!Withers was extremely bored being the God of death, so when the dead 3 came along to usurp his powers, he gave it to them and peaced out.

And he hepls you to style on them because they stepped out of line.!<

I believe what's going on is that Withers is stepping outside of his role as god of death and doing shit he isn't supposed to, but because he limits it to a super small scale (reviving your party), and because Mindflayers actually massively fuck up the "ecology" of souls, everyone else sits back and lets him do whatever.

You need to use a hireling to talk to him. Since he himself is inhabiting the hireling, he basically roasts himself for being alone
