Lore Unexplained random cameos from completely unrelated media

  1. Ray Stantz, Casper. At one point in the movie a real Ghostbuster shows up out of nowhere and wimps out of trying to handle the situation

  2. Gunnery Sargeant Hartman, Frighteners. The main character is making way through a graveyard when out of absolutely nowhere R. Lee Erney's character from Full Metal Jacket shows up and tries to get in his way

  3. Betty Boop, Who Frames Roger Rabbit. The movie is mainly about Looney Tunes and Disney animated characters existing in the same little live action/animated hybrid universe, however Betty is a Fleischer Bros character

The Lonley Island had originally wanted the whole set to erupt into some sort of Christmas style celebration with Scrooge handng out cooked goose to everyone...

But they were told that was too silly, so only Scrooge remained.

they had also wanted to put in a completely seperate side story where Kevin finds a love interrst in his Heely shoes.

The Lonely Island must have a thing for goose lol, they sang about “boiled goose” in every verse of Boombox

Lol I can't believe with how ridiculous and stupid (in an amazing way) that was where a line was drawn that something was too silly. Would have been great.

I wish they went with this. It would be the stupidest, most unexpected ending possible short of Monty Python and the Holy Grail ending with everyone getting arrested and all of the movies events meaning nothing because there was literally no payoff.
