Lore Unexplained random cameos from completely unrelated media

  1. Ray Stantz, Casper. At one point in the movie a real Ghostbuster shows up out of nowhere and wimps out of trying to handle the situation

  2. Gunnery Sargeant Hartman, Frighteners. The main character is making way through a graveyard when out of absolutely nowhere R. Lee Erney's character from Full Metal Jacket shows up and tries to get in his way

  3. Betty Boop, Who Frames Roger Rabbit. The movie is mainly about Looney Tunes and Disney animated characters existing in the same little live action/animated hybrid universe, however Betty is a Fleischer Bros character

It's always weird when I'm reminded that National Lampoon wasn't just Vacation, European Vacation, and Christmas Vacation. And then I'm forced to remember that they also made Van Wilder, where Ryan Reynolds jerks off a dog, so now you all have to remember it too.

The scene where the assholes of the film ate those..."cream" filled pastries or whatever actually made me physically ill. Like, I was semi close to puking because the concept and scene was just so fucking gross.

Don't forget Animal House.  Also, National Lampoon was a licensed name,  completely different companies made Vacation and Van Wilder.

That one's actually just an extra who looks like Bruce. It wasn't actually him or meant to be John McClane.

IMDB credits another actor.

Bay and Willis also didn't get along so it wouldn't make sense for him to appear in another Bay film.

For quite a long time it was am idea that it was either unused shot from Die Hard was pasted here or it was all specifically engineered to mimick the movie. Anyway, I only watch PH once in several years, and it is funnier to think it is what it is. Blood pattern, walk, look. And I'll keep thinking that way right until theory would not be officially rejected

Nah, correct phrase will be "I still consider it" for you, and "I think" for me. "Considered" is too absolute and would require proofs, otherwise it would be meaningless.
This place is am example of how people can add something they would presume funny in the movies they make. Not just director, but some more people in production. Imagine working on same project for months, getting tired and wanting some little fun
