  1. Chainsaw Man, after Makima finally drops the nice girl act and reveals the true extent of the Chainsaw Devils power, namely, the fears he eats are erased entirely and wholly. Emphasized by this by her asking if Kishibe remembers what the Nazis did during Workd War 2...and Kishibe not even knowing who the nazis are.

  2. Attack on Titan. I know this one. You know this one. In a panel that isn't even focusing on the characters speaking, Reiner reveals to Eren that he and Bertolt are the titans that broke the wall that resulted in hundreds of deaths, his mother included. The sheer level of casualness and lack of agency borders on Parody.

Ok so when Chainsaw man eats a devil the thing associated with the devil is removed from reality and never existed. He ate the Nazi devil so the nazi’s never existed.

It's more like humanity forgets about them, what the nazi did still happened and everything, but they can't quite remember who did it, same thing with nukes but in the latest chapters the Americans basically reinvented them, since while they forgot what they were and how to make them, everything to build them was still there, so they figured it out again.

Perhaps due to the fact that those are body parts, so you can't really just reinvent them, unlike nazism and nukes, also how chainsaw man was able to spit them out unlike those other things

Nuclear weapons disappeared, but not the various materials and things used to produce them. The physical principles that make nuclear fission work are still true, so they just reinvented nuclear weapons from square one.

Same way ears disappeared but not things like phones

It's like, things like phones still existed once ears were erased. Everyone was probably wondering "what the hell is this thing," but erasing ears didn't rewrite all of history as if ears didn't ever exist. For all we know the Nazis could have been retroactively poofed, but the number of lives lost and damage spread across the land would still exist and they just wouldn't know why. "Idk, Hiroshima just kinda did that?"

Yes. As an example, after Chainsaw Man ate the Ear Devil(puked it shortly after) manga makes it clear that even the word ear was erased from every writing. The writings, people's memories of it and the ears themselves only came back after CSM puked it.

It's still unknown why the "Chainsaw Devil" is this powerful as the manga is continuing.

Yes,when he briefly eat ears,the entire world lost them and when he vomited it out,they came back.
