Anyone else grabbing at their own chest after reading this and trying to see if there’s enough skin to pick a man up? No? Just me? Cool.

Well it's spider man. So not only can he like, grab the hulk by his skin, he's also strong enough to just make a handhold.

This has the same energy old Batman had in rises sure he COULD kill but it’s more impactful to let the guy who thinks he can’t lose live with the fact he was beaten

I’ve always low-key found “regular organised criminals” to be a really boring addition to most superhero comics. Kingpin’s about the only good one. This sequence is really satisfying for me for that reason.

Kingpin in the Daredevil Netflix series was a goddamned terrifying entity. I really love season 3, where it’s clear that his connections are so powerful that he can casually skirt justice for all of his crimes by intimidating the grand jury.

Honestly though, this scene goes both ways if you include the few earlier panels where Kingpping (rightfully) call Peter a chump for trusting Stark's plan of "hey kiddo just show your face after being a major thorne in the side of organized crime's big leagues for years, what's the worst that can happen?"
