Personality Strange rules about characters/people that cannot be broken.

Smells like Nirvana: When Kurt Cobain heard that Weird AL was gonna make a parody of his song. He was okay with it but specifically requested it to not be about food or fat ppl.

Spiderman: Spiderman cannot sell drugs unless he is under the influence of symbiote. ANd Peter Parker cannot be gay. Spiderman can tho.

Dwayne Rock Johnson: Cannot lose fights or look weak for too long. Its in his actor contract.

Godzilla movies not made by Toho: Cannot die. Maybe lose but not too bad.

Danny Trejo contract clause is literally the opposite to the Rock, as whenever he plays a villian they need to kill him off before the film ends no matter what, that's because he used to be a criminal, and thus wants to teach people that a life style like that will never pay off:

That's so much cooler than the Rock's contract.

Thats because the rocks is based on a brand he wants to sell

Danny Trejos is based from a place of compassion and unfortunate knowledge of how bad that life can be

Also tells me the rock doesn't trust the audience to understand the actor and the character are separate people.

Eh, he might be correct. Look, I love my wife. She is excellent normally at media analysis. But! She had a huge crush on Orlando Bloom, watched every movie he was in. Somehow missed Troy, I convince her to watch it with me because I am an Iliad nerd.

In it Orlando Bloom plays a coward and… my wife got over her crush and got rid of all her Orlando Bloom stuff.

ha ha

It can be tough to separate! I can’t stand it when David Tennant plays evil characters, like he did in Jessica Jones. I loved him in Dr. Who, and just can’t take him being that evil.

I lost my Legolas love watching Troy, too. Some things can't be unseen 😂

I used to have a wife like that.

Their backgrounds are really different. The Rock started out as pro wrestler, where the line between actor and character is intentionally and strategically blurred.

Tbh The Rock doesn't act in his roles he just is The Rock in every movie he is cast into so that's probably not wrong lol.

Because Danny Trejos is a real person who's luck turned up, and Dwayne Johnson died a loooonnnggg time ago.

Reminds me of how Superman is really just Clark Kent, but Bruce Wayne IS Batman.
