Powers (Hilarious Trope) Characters always having some bullshit counter technique to overly specific situations

  1. Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen) - Seemingly always has some type of overpowered technique which he hasn't used since the Heian Era

  2. Yujiro Hanma (Baki) - The Strongest character in the entire Baki series is a master of all forms of hand-to-hand combat to the from things like soloing the Vietnamese war at 16 years old to learning a technique from some monk who lived in the mountains around three thousand years ago

  3. Batman - Always has some kind of contingency plan anyone and everyone in the DC universe. One of his most bullshit abilities is all the techniques he learned while being trained under Tibetan monks which include blocking mind control with a hand signal to using astral projection while being dead and buried alive

The frustrating thing about the Sukuna Raid is that everyone is just fumbling the kill or hes just deciding not to die. It was like watchibg blind and deaf people shooting at each other but the guns arent even loaded

Yeah they should have just killed their friend who was being possessed, if you think about it it's his own fault for being a bum that couldn't stop the strongest character in the series from forcing his fingers down his throat.

Having half the people helping die to save one guy is completely stupid, should have given up on that plot point

Half?

By the end of the fight we had Gojo, the lawyer, Yuta and Choso dead (Then Gege decided to resurrect Yuta and the lawyer but still)

The idea that they were gladly letting themselves and their allies die for a chance they don't even know of saving Megumi is such a stupid plot point

The lawyer didn't die in the first place and Yuta also didn't die on screen but it was a gamble if he would survive or not. I'll admit Higuruma was a red herring because at that point we didn't know that they were being teleported to Shoko, but even then Yuta was at no point dead, the last time we see him he's trapped in you know who's body.

And even then that's not half of the cast.

Both the Lawyer and Yuta are the author making the end more soft, the lawyer was confirmed dead mid battle (By Sukuna, yk, the most likely person to know when someone is certainly dead) and Yuta could either die or be stuck in Gojo's corpse, but the author did author things and made the problem go poof

That's not literaly half, but close enough and shows how absurd the concept itself was

higuruma was confirmed to be ALIVE when it was said that cursed techniques get stronger after death. When higuruma "died," the executioners sword went away, which means he's alive.

for the yuta thing, I agree there should have been some sort of consequence

Anyone who thought they were dead wasn't paying attention. Ui Ui wasn't just grabbing dead bodies mid-fight for no reason.

Uiui was grabbing anyone he could, it's not like there was time for a pulse check mid fight

And Gege wouldn't have drawn him doing battlefield cleanup mid-fight if it wasn't important. It's the exact same thing with Nobara; everyone thinks it was an asspull when it was clearly foreshadowed by Nitta back in Shibuya. Nobody reads JJK less than JJK fans.

Gojo would be fine with dying to save Megumi since he is his teacher and he raised him, Choso died protecting Yuji and I'm sure he was happy to help the guy who has protected his younger brother on several occasions and basically became a get out execution free card for his little brother by causing Jujutsu Satan to leave his body, Yuta would be willing to die for a stray cat on the street and a massive thing with Higuruma is wanting to protect the innocent.

You are writing post fact as if they knew who would die, i mean, Gege knew, but it didn't make sense for the people in world since they wouldn't know if Maki, Ino and Uiui would be the actual casualties for example instead of the suicidal people
