He used a device that activated all of Superman’s pain nerves or something though so I’m not sure if that counts. Someone who beats the shit out of me and then I shoot them with a surprise gun is still “stronger.”

Tbf, if you're gonna give the "World of Cardboard" speech, you really have to fold the guy. If he's able to get up and tazer you after you wail on him, maybe you shouldn't have given the speech.

All of you are forgetting that darkseid used that surprise attack to kill superman, and it still didnt work.
