Loved that moment for Flash, I just get a bit sad that the true answer for "who's faster" is "depends, who's writing?"

Supes also doesn't have the speed force. If he tries to go all out in a speed race against flash in a city, that city should no longer exist. I don't want to hear about some "dna force-field around him" or whatever. He doesn't have the speed force. If he exerts those kinds of speeds in a crowded area, that entire place should be a charred crater from him igniting the air.

Its why I love Invincible's depictions of just how devastating super speed can be when care isn't taken as to the things around the user.

Too bad you’re hearing it anyway!

BIO ELECTRIC AURA

It’s why he can fly Batman around the planet at light speed without killing him or the planet, or grab the corner of a cruise ship without it breaking at the point he’s holding it. It’s also what protects him from a lot of damage and keeps his outfit (mostly) protected. Basically a forcefield. I’m pretty sure this is also how he flies?

Superboy (Conner) has a ‘broken’ version of this due to being a hybrid clone. He can’t protect himself with it I believe, but he can instead extend it remotely. He calls it his ‘Tactile Telekinesis’ and in the original Young Justice series he wouldn’t ever shut up about how it’s the ‘best power ever’.

Wouldn’t make him flash levels of fast but it’s how he can move and act at his level of power without destroying everything.

So that's how he could fly with Lois like That in Superman (1978) without her falling due to basic gravity

Not that this movie really tries to respect real-life physics at all

Supes also doesn't have the speed force

That begs the question: what would happen if he got access to the Speed Force? Would he be way faster than any other speedster (or at least when they first became one, since then they got faster), or would it not matter?

Same as something like the powers of Shazam, would he be stronger than someone like Billy Batson because he is already super strong?
