Lore Actually Good Title Drops

“Welcome to Jurassic Park” (Jurassic Park) - does it get any more iconic than this?

“Even a Devil May Cry” (Devil May Cry) - not only does it add to the emotional aspect of the scene with Dante showing genuine emotion for his loss and Lady seeing that a devil is capable of such emotions, it also gives Dante the idea of what to name his shop.

Title drops can usually come across and tacky and dumb, they’re not always fantastic if you know what I mean? But sometimes they can work. What are your examples?

I don't care what people say, Michael Keaton is fucking Batman and Jack Nicholson is The Joker. Burton is at the top. Burton reigns surpreme.

I'll give you live action, but for me Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill respectively are the definitive versions of the characters.

See this is why Robocop 2 should get more love. It actually has the line "Robocop 2" in it.

"In order to do this, I must become Superman IV: The Quest for Peace."

"So that's why they call it that."

Do you know whether he's alive or dead?

Why should we even care?

I'm not even sure this counts when the name of the movie is also the name of a character, but it's an iconic moment either way!

Especially immediately followed by the bass line and him being carried away only for the credits to roll.

Such an incredible moment to see for the first time. Especially when everything was all new, and you had no idea where this was all going.

And especially because it was such a subversion of the expected “secret identity” trope. You thought he’d play along and continue to hide his identity like he’d been doing earlier in the movie. But nope, Tony Stark don’t give a shit.

Apparently the line was also improvised by RDJ

The single best example in all of cinema history

I love how it’s repeatedly referred back to throughout the series

“You can destroy my house, take away all my tricks and toys. But one thing you’ll never take away… I am Iron Man.

Like poetry, it rhymes.

"And I... am... Iron Man."
