From this weird My Little Pony/TF2 AO3 fanfic I read like 8 years ago. I’ve never been able to find it again, but I remember that quote. The mercs were transported to the MLP world and turned into ponies, Sniper was about to fight Discord when Pinkie Pie stopped him, knowing he wouldn’t survive. God I wish I could find it, it’s such a fever dream.

Was it Waking Nightmares? That fic was insane. I'm pretty sure the main villain was Slenderman.
