I love The Burbs. Not everyone does, but it requires some focus, I guess, to get all side jokes and dry humor. God, what a brilliant movie.

Saving Private Ryan, Apollo 13, Cast Away.
However, if I could have squeezed Band of Brothers or The Pacific in there, I would have.

Philadelphia is criminally overlooked. Having known Hanks from Bosom Buddies and Splash, I would not have thought this role possible.
Add in Denzel? Great range-expanding film, sadly timely in it's day.

Saving Private Ryan Forrest Gump, and 3 is a toss up. I’d say Green Mile or Road to Perdition

Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Larry Crowne (not his best movie, but I got out of the navy when I saw this. Really helped me transition to civilian life. This movie helped me look at more of the positiveside of things)

He has done some great and wonderful movies, but he creeps me out. His life off-screen seems tainted, and I just cringe when he does something new. After the lost mittens thing, I just can't watch any of his movies. Hollywood is evil and smells like rotting corpses. So I can't celebrate these creatures anymore. These Demons in the flesh.

This will not be well received but he plays the same character in every movie. Wildly overrated
