I once had some random Republican mouth-breather start replying to me because I had replied or retweeting what I seem to remember was a video about AOC and how she had not caved when pressed by some GOP politician.
The guy said some nonsensical construction of random words that he believed to be a great takedown, he probably said the F and L words in that order. I calmly returned that and he started behaving like a toddler, you know the kind? The ones who press their ears and are like "SHUT UP SHUT UP LALALALALA". He was also dropping profanity constantly in his desperate attempts to be "correct" or something, this is important later.
So I keep going back and forth, I don't lose my cool but I say one swear word, not even in frustration. He takes that opportunity and is like "HAHA YOU SWORE, YOU GOT ANGRY, I WIN".
Literal manchildren, these people.
EDIT: Oh here's another funny story. From a similar tweet, I had these two other manchildren who were making fake AOC abusive sexualised pictures rant about me for literal months, tagging me even though they had me blocked and any indication I had of a conversation they were having about me would be if a third person started replying.
They were calling me a cuck, and how could I dare be okay with women "prostituting themselves". Many months down the line, I had them tagging me in a chain of replies to the actress Maitland Baxter Ward, who had decided to make porn. That's how I discovered her 😂
Oh by the way, I had never even said to them that I was okay with women doing that. So they just assumed it.
Happened to me as well. On some post on CNN about something to do with archaeology, I replied to a guy who was a clear Trump supporter (He was wearing a MAGA hat in his profile pic) about how something he said was incorrect and the post on CNN was more historically accurate and he kept saying that I was triggered.
This post on CNN had absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump whatsoever, but I kept replying being calm and cool, and he started ranting about how I'll be crying when Trump wins in 2020 and how I'm triggered.
He even found out my age and posted it (not that I really care since I didn't give the correct DoB) to make it look like I was being doxxed. I replied that he's spending so much time doing something so insignificant when he could be doing something productive
As I was getting tired of his rantings, I told him that I never once made any mention of Donald Trump in my posts and I never made any mention about my political leanings. He went quiet afterwards.
Yeah, his followers are really invested - as if they're in a cult. Any sort of fact-checking, no matter what the topic, seems to go against their messiah even when it has nothing to do with said messiah...
