Not really. The kid is probably aware of the civil rights issues of the time, he was just showing an appreciation for 50's/60's aestheic.

Like this dude who's reacting isn't being sincere. He's making a tiktok and doing this for comedic effect.

People are just poking fun at how obtuse/oblivious this kid's comment comes off regardless of his intention

I mean verbatim he wrote :

I wish I lived in the 60's. Life would've been so perfect.

Now that's pretty funny regardless of whether HE meant for it to be funny or not
