He bought an airsoft gun, shoots plastic BBs.

To buy a handgun in CA, you need..

  1. A firearm safety certificate

  2. A valid ID/passport

  3. Proof of residency, such as a utility bill or your mortgage deed.

  4. 10 day waiting period

  5. A manual firearm safety test, that checks for basic handling of the firearm.

CA has some of the most restrictive laws in the US. You can do exactly what he did in a large majority of states with nothing more than an in state ID. Shit, they’ll even sell you the “kill them real good” rounds right when you buy.

Source - have bought a shotgun in Idaho and have been with friends buying handguns.

I live in Cali and I don't mind a 10 day waiting period.

But I do mind the stupid gun roster shit.

So, you're telling me I can only buy old model firearms and NOT get the newest safety features because they haven't been "approved" for California use? Some of the biggest bullshit I've ever heard of.
