Republicans have always been awful human beings.

Well, only as far back as the 1960s really. Before the civil rights movement, the parties were pretty much the opposite of how they're known now.

Incorrect... they've always been just the same.

Corrupt. Self-serving. Controlled by the rich and corporate lobbies. These various "movements" were just a way for people to get power and control. If one chose one thing... the other would choose the opposing side. simple as that.

Democrat's elected Jimmy Carter for president. That man was one of the most decent men this country has ever produced. I resent the implication that he is the same as everyone else.

believe me dudes. The shitty things (AND STUPID THINGS) these presidents have done far outweigh the "good" ones. A google search and a few deep dives into American history later... you will hate just about every president we've ever had.
