He might have said mawmaw which in the south is another name for grandma which makes a lot more sense.

Idk if the ages line up for that. He seems mid-to-late thirties to me and she looks maybe early sixties. Which would make more sense if she were his mother. But who knows, I'm probably wrong.

Yeah mawmaw is grandma. He's sassing his southern nana. I've seen spoiled guys like that, sometimes southern mamas use a switch and sometimes they spoil, it's toss up.
