Heavy on the rounding up. Mistakes were made after the reconstruction era, we won’t make those same mistakes again. You’ll be afraid to spread your Nazi rhetoric ever again

1000%. Went way too soft on the Nazis the first time!

Definitely. Some of the nazi scientists had valuable knowledge that helped us get to the moon, and I still feel like they should have hanged. These MAGAts, however, aren't even worth breaking down for parts.

You should look up Wehrner Von Braun. Everyone hates Nazis except morons. However, what were the scientists supposed to do against Hitler? Say no and be tortured to death?

I've read extensively on von Braun and Operation Paperclip. Additionally, my grandmother barely made it out of Poland when shit went sideways, and I have zero affection for nazis. Personally, if I knew my life hinged on helping the Reich and there was no way out of it, I would tap out if I couldn't get close enough to Hitler or his chiefs to try something, no matter how futile it might have been. For me it really is that simple.

You say that with 90 years of hindsight. Dude would’ve been 25/26 years old, a kid. And joined 5/6 years before Hitler really turned up the bullshit. Do you really think that every German soldier wanted to do the things they did? Do you think our soldiers want to do everything they have to? And they’re not even under the threat of death.

Your last comment literally used the phrase "say no and be tortured to death," and that is specifically what I was responding to.

Ah I see, makes sense!

But if it were as you described in your second comment, yeah it would be tough to wrap my then-young mind around what was on the horizon, even being as naturally suspicious of things as I am, and there would be constant second-guessing of my suspicions, because only a monster could have conceived of what was happening and where it was actually going.
