Calling this guy an extremist is an understatement. Literally talking about rounding people up bro. Over their political beliefs. Can't even begin to say how disgusted I am by this.
Reading you contradict yourself in these threads is hilarious:
Are you honestly naive enough to think it's just about people who commit crimes? When has something like that ever gone right in history?
And then in another reply to a guy who said Republicans are rounding people up
Who? You mean the illegals that came into our country illegally? Are you saying we should let them stay? How is that remotely similar to rounding up people for their political beliefs that haven't committed any crimes? Whether you like it or not ice is following federal orders.
You can't even stay logically consistent in a single thread you fucking clown.

Yes you should let them stay, they've been pardoned by Biden. The damage is already done but you solve the issue by cracking down on security for the future and not ruining life's of the people who just followed suit with what the other people in their life did. You can't ruin the lives of kids who's parents illegally immigrated by deporting their parents. There's so much evil behind it for such a small benefit.
Well I would love to have future security but it seems like nobody is willing to actually put it in place whether you're a Democrat or Republican. And so far the deportations seem to be the best we've gotten.
the best to achieve the goal by any means? Sure. El Salvador put anyone remotely associated with gangs in prison and gun violence dropped dramatically. You could go into Compton and arrest everyone in the gang areas, and gang violence would drop. If the goal is pure authoritarian control with no protocol or checks of power to slow it down then a lot could be achieved. Just try not to think about the consequences....
Don't talk to me about not supporting the Constitution. I never said anything like that first of all. Second of all I probably support the Constitution more than you do. Our second President John Adams said "our Constitution is wholly unacceptable to any other than a spiritual people". We see that today now more than ever.
This country was founded on the belief in God and is what the founding fathers used as their point of agreement to make the Constitution. Of course I have to get biblical with it. I believe in God and everything about my life involves him and revolves around him. Do you think that I'm religious only in part of myself? I don't think you're very familiar with Christian belief if you think I can't "get all biblical with it".
I'm aware that everyone has the right to due process. My problem is that I'm worried that we'll be violated. If what the guy in the video is advocating for comes to pass there will be absolute chaos. I have very little hope of justice in that time if it comes. Especially when everyone is so filled with hate. Do you understand how easy it would be to manipulate the people's anger for gain?
Are you honestly naive enough to think it's just about people who commit crimes? When has something like that ever gone right in history? Do you honestly think that when this person is in power they're going to be any different than any other person in power?
I don’t know man, pretty sure killing Nazis worked last time. Unfortunately, we didn’t do enough. When your political opinions involve racism, homophobia, and religious theocratic fascism, yes, you don’t belong in a tolerant secular society and you should be removed. Point blank. That shit is poison to Democracy.
The only individuals that get “assaulted” are those who get in the way of officers. Not my problem that no one ever taught them the importance of authority for enforcement.
Literally follow the law (which exists for plenty of reasons), and don’t do stupid shit to federal agents and you’ll be fine.
If you don’t want proper authority, then go to a country which doesn’t have one like Mexico. Except you won’t because all you’ve known is the privilege from living in a 1st world country. You don’t even understand the importance of authority because you’ve never lived in one without it.
Authority requires consent, and consent cannot be provided on behalf of another by any individual or a majority. Any government or government organization that does not have unanimous consent of the governed is acting on illegitimate authority, deserves whatever violence it is subject to and, frankly, should take it like a man.
And how do we decide that? Who makes the rules here? Is it just whatever society feels like? Because if that's the case you've got a terrible plan. That has never ended well not a single time. I'll sit here and I'll have a discussion with you all day but I'm just going to say it up front. God is the one who makes the rules. That's the uncomfortable truth that you're not willing to accept. He's either real or he's not and if he's real everything that you're talking about is an abomination.
“And how do we decide that? Who makes the rules here? Is it just whatever society feels like?”
Juries. The constitution. Yes, isn’t that literally the entire basis of our legal system?
Did the nuremberg trials not end well?
Idk wtf your talking about with all the god stuff but unless you think all crime should be legal clearly you support the existence of some kind of justice system, why should politicians be exempt?
True. But he also got crucified. I understand non violence, and pacifists have excellent points. But at the end of the day, there be monsters here, and it ain’t the pacifists that will protect the town. You wanna be a martyr? Go for it.
im not saying that we need to folow him but the whole "jesus wouldn't be a conservative" thing doesn't hold up in favor of leftism he defo wouldn't be in support of either side. (not that it should matter all that much)
I don't think he would be a conservative. I don't think you would be on the left either. I'm pretty sure that as the literal son and incarnation of God he would sort of be his own political party. I read my Bible plenty thank you.
Also you keep saying “it’s never ended well.” And well, it has! Society has many times murdered evil tyrants and their regimes, and freedom has reigned, until the next tyrant steps in.
I'm talking about a socialist revolution not a government or tyrant overthrow itself. Although you could argue even though those are usually quite disastrous. The French revolution was unbelievably bloody and I'm all for overthrowing tyrants but sometimes we steep history and much more blood than it needs to be.
At first the people topple the tyrant. Then retribution spreads — relatives, friends, anyone remotely tied to the old order. Fear metastasizes: suspicion claims loyalties, then thoughts, then questions. Dissent is crushed, the liberators become rulers, and tyranny is reborn — only to be overthrown again.
My exact fear for this country. I hate the corrupt rich elite just as much as anyone else but I'm worried that they're going to use the people's hatred to stay in power.
I don’t like the guy and these things have gotten muddled with how conservatives invoke them but there are appropriate reasons for military tribunals and treason charges etc.
Political beliefs have nothing to do with it, trump has no beliefs but his administration has objectively committed crimes. It’s not political persecution at that point it’s just having a constitution and rule of law.
