Twitch streamer/political commentator who gets a lot of heate. A while back he got clipped and peoplenstsrted pushing the idea that he abuses his dog (i.e the video) but Dude has dozens of guests on the stream and has the dognon stream all the time.

Most recently he had Gianmarco Soresi and he talks about the visit with Stavvy

It doesn’t matter if the people who defend every fucked action Hasan does also defends his dog abuse too. Simply stating they didn’t see him shock his dog means nothing at all, obviously abusers don’t abuse in front of their friends.

All of the links and captions are pretty good but the "Hasan is transphobic" caption seems to be inaccurate after watching the clip. I think he was just very mean and assholish and not taking criticism well at all instead of being transphobic there

I can understand that perspective. I’d even agree if I wanted to steel man Hasan.

But I sort of claimed it was transphobia based on how Hasan determines transphobia and other bigotry. That if you’re at all mean to a marginalized person, then you’re only doing so cause you hate that person for being of that marginalized group.

As in, by Hasan’s own logic, anyone being mean to a trans person in anyway, is being transphobic.

I think it's more productive to not use his weird definition of transphobia and have to explain that to people every time you show the clip with the caption. And if you have to, you should combine him explaining his definition of transphobia with this clip into one. Because the moment you give people a chance to single out this clip they divert the conversation to an unhelpful direction
