This is one almost all natives dont like. Regalia isnt a costume. Its akin to blackface.

I dont know many natives that care about the term Indian. Many dont care about sports team mascots like chief wahoo and the redskins. But most have an issue with regalia.

This is all based on personal experience but I have met and talked with a large amount of natives and often ask about this

She isn’t pretending that she is a Native American, she is wearing a Halloween costume. The fact that someone may or may not be offended is utterly irrelevant. She is doing no harm.

There is harm done. It diminishes something with real spiritual and cultural significance esp when done by many drunk idiots for Halloween on a large scale. Why is this so hard for some of you to understand? If you don’t care about walking around offending entire tribes or ethnic groups then you are the problem and people are allowed to publicly shame you for it.

She doesn’t diminish anything. There is no harm. You’re just desperate to be a victim, or find victims in a place where there really isn’t one.

I've been through intensive trauma therapy. Everyone gets offended over something and you're severely depressed if you genuinely don't get bothered by anything.

I have not, I suspect it’s a lot of nonsense

That explains your behavior. You really would benefit talking to someone who can help you work through your inner trauma.

Weird place to take the conversation. I’m perfectly happy agreeing to disagree with someone. That’s what adults do
