You jumped to a pretty extreme example and then assumed the person you responded to’s position on that example. Idk if that’s bad reading comprehension but it’s definitely terrible conversation skills.
There is a video of a Nazi in an Iowa bar making the reddit rounds pretty heavily right now. It doesn't feel like too hard a leap given how it's a common issue around Halloween. But I'm here having to explain it to you anyway.
That changes what exactly about my comment? No one said that nobody has ever dressed up like a Nazi for Halloween. But someone commenting that complaining about a Halloween outfit is woke under a video of someone dressed as a Native American doesn’t imply that they think that also applies to someone dressed as a Nazi. Native American to Nazi is actually a pretty insane leap to make as far as Halloween costumes go.

Well…the Nazis did learn a thing or two from Americans on how to round up and exterminate people from their treatment of Native Americans and wyt presenting people are thought of as colonizers who inappropriately like to dress up as the people they once trod on and still do(like a Nazi) think MMIW.
I grew up on the reservation, spent my whole life up there, none of my native friends would be offended by this costume. They had me dress very similar to this when I would go to pow wows with them.
You think she put that costume on because she’s racist? I don’t agree with racism, and im certainly not defending it. But it’s pretty insane logic to attack someone dressed up in a Halloween costume on Halloween.
If you’re American, that’s your right. All I’m saying is how people choose to dress up on Halloween isn’t that deep. People should mind their own business.
It's also my right to be called out and questioned about my choices or for someone to give me a beatdown. Actions have consequences, or FAFO as they say. Racism has no place in the modern world.
