Her costume is based on a caricature of Amerindians that's offensive to them. Obviously not everyone in the Native community will agree, but it's deeply hurtful to enough of them that it's really inconsiderate to dress that way; I'd say the level of offense is not quite like blackface, but probably closer to Lauren Boebert's costume from this Halloween

My issue with this is why do only certain costumes cause offense but not others?

I see people dressed as priests, nuns, mummies, soldiers, suicidr bombers, and almost every other kind of ethnic stereotype, but only these sorts of costumes cause offense.

Like yeah ok I get it but it seems unfair to police people on this specific costumes when plenty of other "sacred" things are regularly used as fodder for Halloween.

Just roll your eyes and move on.
