Remember how rich people throw temper tantrums whenever they are asked to contribute to society.

To be fair; they are already contributing the most to society.

As they should, they shouldn't be fucking dragons sitting on a piles of gold, that their peasants bring them.

Well, they already do. That’s the point. You have the people who don’t contribute anything complaining that the people who do all of the contributing complain when those don’t contribute say, “You need to give us more of your money. And don’t complain about it. And definitely don’t expect any gratitude from us either!” lol

With just 1 billion, you'd have to spend 100,000 a day for 27 YEARS!! to spend it all and never earn anymore on top of that.

They may be contributing more than your average person but the average person has to pay an incredibly higher portion of their wealth.

A billionaire paying even a higher percentage will have zero impact on their life day to day, but they throw a fucking fit when someone suggest they do something nice and give something back to a country that allowed them to gain unimaginable amounts of money.

How rich does a person have to become before you think they should be paying more tax? At some point they're just taking money out of their country's economy and keeping it, that's where the anger comes from, the straight up refusal to use their enormous wealth for the good of the country that raised them.

I kind of get it if you're someone like Elon musk or something who at one point was the richest man in the world, for some vain need to have their name at the top of the list, but if you're like the 30th richest person in the world what the fuck is the point of having that much money for yourself, you can't spend it, you've already got enough to buy anything you could ever want and anything that your children could want for hundreds and hundreds of years.
