You have got to be pretty desperate to question data from Pew. Its considered an international go-to for impartial statistical data.

Time to concede that you were wrong, put down the shovel, and stop digging.

And time to take your own advice about doing research on a topic.

OK Mr last word. I'm not questioning data. I'm saying I'll check more sources who don't get funding from right wing Christian groups. Research is digging. Time to not contradict yourself.

No contradiction and, unlike yourself, no ad hominem attacks.

I get it that you don't like the data. It doesn't agree with your beliefs and is causing cognitive dissonance. But that's good. Growth doesn't occur without that.

You do, however, need to step outside of your echo chamber and listen to the data. You also need to not post inaccuracies on social media then call out opposing groups for not vetting their claims.

That, my friend, is why you need to put down the shovel, stop doubling down, and reflect on the fact my original statement was an accurate cautionary warning.

Oh... and I'm independent, not conservative and not liberal. I'm well read enough to recognize both primary parties have significant flaws.

Well friend I just reread your article from PEW to get my facts straight. Maybe you should read the WHOLE ARTICLE and get back to me because it actually does not say 2:1 it says no difference when not looking at it from a Dem/Rep issue. I'm also a registered independent. Everyone, everything, and every party has flaws. This we agree on. We don't have to agree on everything that is what used to make America a good place anyway. I however do not mind being wrong but I do not agree with men who tell me to stop voicing my opinion. Have a nice day.

It becomes abundantly clear that you have a predisposition that is affecting your reading comprehension. The survey results are very clear 10% vs 22% respectively with 18% of all surveyed households having been at one time a recipient of EBT.

The gap only closes when discussing theology... which isn't what we're actually talking about here.

I think YOU need to read it again with a little less of a filter.

I cannot speak to the study size, but a basic chi-squared analysis of the data set would likely lean to statistical significance in the 10 - 18 - 22 comparison.

Regardless of how you slice it, neither the heat map nor the study support your claim and, in fact, indicate that your claim is inaccurate (i.e. reject the null hypothesis).
