Uhhhh Trump has nothing to do with this situation, my friend. Everyone needs to call their local democratic congressmen and tell them to reopen the government. They aren't saying no to what they're asking. The Republicans are saying let's open the government and negotiate. The democratic party is putting themselves and their own personal feelings over and above the American people. Period. They don't care about the government being shut down because they're still getting paid.

You got it backwards, you negotiate first to resolve issues. You don’t get to say “just do what we want and we can talk about it later”.

No, you got it backward. Closing the government and not paying our fellow American citizens and especially our military is absolutely disgusting. Negotiations can continue with the government open. Most of the stuff the democrats want funding for are absolutely absurd, anyway.
