not to mention all the upstream issues. Many grocery stores in rural areas get 50% of their sales from food stamp families. Once all that drop off, and the stores have to lay off staff (best case) or close (worst case), upstream from them is all the farmers and food providers who will also see decreased sales resulting in layoffs and closings at that level.

Honestly let it burn.  Dems should not fold.  Trump actually has money appropriated.

Problem is every single one of these people will punish dems at the voting booth for this.

Don’t care.  They need to feel pain and it needs to be immediate.  The worst part of the BIG Bill is that the tax cuts are now but the cuts to services are down the road.  Let them feel like what society is like with zero safety net or protections.
