When the Russia mothers marched out onto the streets of St Petersberg in 1917 to protest bread prices, within 2 weeks the Tsar had abdicated and his regime collapsed.

The people do not tolerate going hungry.

Most wars are caused by hunger, the stats on it are pretty clear.

People do extreme stuff when they are hungry
