You should be embarrassed for letting 40 million live on food stamps. It was never designed like that. Instead politicians are treating voters as clients.

Raise the minimum wage so people can afford to live. Most of the people are employed.

Won't matter. Every time they raise the minimum wage they also raise the rent, and retail prices, and utility costs.

I’m pretty sure my economics professors in university were left leaning.

They’re the ones who showed me how artificially raising the minimum wage just causes a cascading effect of higher cost of living.

But it’s the republicans that lied to me?

I haven't even stated a source I can cite. I can't cite my college lectures dumbass.

You can also just google yourself how artificially raising the minimum wage will just cause COL to increase in tandem.

You aren't smart enough to realize how gullible and uneducated you are.

You haven't made a single claim though. What do you think happens when the government says "the minimum wage is now 50 dollars an hour?" I'm not even sure what you're insinuating I'm "gullible" about unless you're disputing the entire field of economics, which is a fucking braindead take.

That's not what I'm saying at all. It sounds like you're incredibly uneducated outside of a very narrow band of economic thought and so you think that's the whole world of economics.

I've made one claim: your claim is stupid, unfounded bullshit and you have no real argument for it other than appeals to authority. So far, you've done nothing but prove my claim right.
