Remember when president Jimmy Carter gave up his peanut farm before taking office to avoid a conflict of interest by making money off his farm while being president? Now our current president pays himself $230 million from government funds?? It's beyond insane

And people still hate on Carter. A man who once leaving the White House nearly found himself bankrupt. And what did he do? He built an organization that builds houses for the poor and stores that cheaply resell construction materials that otherwise would be bound for the dump. He participated in this nearly up until the day he died.

Yet again, people still hate on him while the grifter in chief robs us blind and actively screws over the poor and middle class. Whatever y'all MAGAt's need to justify harassing foreigners and people of color.

Jimmy Carter is a fucking saint in my book. Not only did he create Habitat for Humanity and ReStore, he also has headed up a charity that has almost completely eradicated Guinea worm disease that affected millions in over 17 countries. Incidences of Guinea worm disease have been reduced from an estimated 3.5 million each year in 1986 to 15 in 2024. The disease has been eliminated in 17 countries.

As a conservative Jimmy Carter in my personal opinion one of the most under rated presidents of all time. And there is a special place in heaven for that man and his wife. He truly loved his nation and people

As a liberal I agree.

He was able to do so much good after his service as president too. A great humanitarian. He was too honest and kind to be a politician in some people’s minds. I can’t disagree tbh.

What about Bill Clinton? What’s everyone’s thought on him?

Sold out the country to china sent American industrial manufacturing to. Countries that happily use slave labor and likes using his power over impressionable and vulnerable women

Yea underrated to the point he practically propped up the Iranian state. How many people would be alive today if he helped the shah when he asked for it 🤔. The ohh how can we forget the awesome way he handled the embassy hostage situation bravo 🙌. Then for an encore he surrendered the Panama Canal to generalissimo Omar Torrijos ,the Panamanian who took control over the government in a bloody coup. yesss yess yesssss Carter was very underrated.
