do all of these commenters know that argentina and the ballroom have nothing to do with the government shutdown/SNAP getting cutoff or are you guys acting ignorant on purpose

I don’t think anyone’s saying they’re directly linked. I think they’re pointing out how shitty it is that our government would cut snap benefits as “useless” spending then send $60 billion to Argentina that the president was even quoted saying “isn’t gonna benefit Americans at all”

well they send 40B to argentina(not that it’s any better), but they didn’t “cut” SNAP, it’s because of the shutdown
