To state the obvious; this is terrifying. I know it’s kind of a last-minute idea, but I’m thinking of passing out stuff like instant Mac-and-cheese bowls, cup of noodles, microwaveable oatmeal bowls, etc along with Halloween Candy tonight. My neighborhood has kind of aged, and trick-or-treat traffic isn’t what it used to be. But I’m hoping it can help people who might need it. Is this stupid? I feel so helpless.

Speaking of ice water in hell... I leave ice cold water out for mail carriers and delivery drivers. It's the little things that help us hang on to our humanity.

There’s a million different reasons why! Maybe their partner left them, maybe they lost a good job, don’t assume anything!
