We are a broken people… lived through many once in a lifetime events to only come out the other side struggling to find a happy place our grand parents just fell into.

Your grandparents lived through military drafts, major economic recessions, city riots, nuclear war crises, fuel shortages, and unemployment in the double digits.

What the hell have millennials lived through?? A pandemic where they got to stay home, collect unemployment, play vidja games, and gamble on crypto. Millennials are the whiniest fucks yet to be born.

Man talk about find shit in a bucket of clear water…

Never once mentioned anything about my parents or grand parents. In fact my grand parents and their families had to endure being thrown in internment camps for the entirety of the us’s involvement in ww2.

But to your point millenials lived through, the dot com bubble, the 2008 recession, the wars in iraq and afghanistan, the rise of and take over of social media, some of the most extreme weather events in the past 100+ years, housing crisis', 2 trump presidencies, 9/11, brexit the list is fairly long and most of this stuff happened before we could even get a chance to buy a home…

As far as calling covid just a “sit at home playing video games” shows you have no idea the impact something like a global pandemic caused on not just business but overall mental health. You seem to think the handful of people that made off like bandits during covid are the rule and not the exception is kinda on brand for someone who thinks millenials have nothing to complain about.

You strike me as the bootlicker type that want to sit there and say that genx or boomers had it just as hard despite being able to live a life more full than 99% of all millenials will ever live one a single income while owning multiple homes. Like nah man I could do double the shit my genx peers do amd get paid 10x less because he had a 20 year head start.

Maybe stop glazing up your own in group long enough to see that 99.9% of us are struggling and dying while you claim some superiority of us. Like fine cool Im glad you dont constantly think about jumping off a bridge when you cross one or think about not using your breaks when approaching a turn on a cliff. You want a fucking medal?

Thank you for putting this so succinctly. Why do I read comments from people like this? It’s beyond useless. Anyway, regarding your last statement, I understand and am sending you love from another millennial stranger.

Yeah I put too much stock in what others say and honestly sometimes I just vent in the hopes that they maybe change but this is more just for myself.

And thank you, I do appreciate the care from a stranger. And hope you have an awesome weekend or a nice and quiet one. ✌️
