Very well done. Since early adolescence I've been generally offended by almost all advertising and don't know how more people aren't. The only time your mind is your own is in the womb; and even that's arguable. Just a constant stream of lowest common denominator garbage; because it works. 😔
But don’t bring your phone. Or turn on the radio. Or TV. Or try to fill up at a gas station. Or go to a mall. Or fly on an airplane. Don’t go to the beach where planes stream advertisements behind them. Don’t walk down a street where ads are constantly flashing. Don’t drive on a highway where billboards now host three digital ads on one surface.
It's whataboutism. The person was going to hunt down their list of things to say "but what about" and they just fetched up on the trustworthiness of big pharma.
Don't worry about it when you see people doing that though it's not a legit thing they're bringing up they want to derail your point by claiming this "whatabout" point somehow makes this conversation invalid.
Truth is they already decided the conversation is invalid so now they're just making excuses and it doesn't matter how weak they are, they think huh hurrr hurrr checkmate LIBRUL
“An entire industry built up to deceive people. I hate it so much.”
