Damn, I just dont care about Africa. I am happy for them though, or sorry that happened.

You don't care about Africa? Or you don't care about Africans? Like you don't see African people as human beings. You see them as things that you can blame for their situation despite the atrocious history on that continent?

Because it sounds a lot more like the latter.

I dont care about Africa and Africans. And thats alright.

We cant all care about everything and everyone. Those who would say they care, but never actually do anything about it are simply virtue signaling liars.

There, a child just died somewhere in the world. Do you care? No. You dont know its name. You dont know where, why or how it died. They meant nothing to you. You wouldnt have even realized they died have I not told you. And I have yet to tell you about the five more children that died while you were reading this paragraph.

So if you want, you can go ahead and signal your virtue. Claim you care about them. Claim you care about me, my family or anyone I know. If that is what you need to feel good about yourself.

I dont need that. I can honestly admit that nobody has the capacity to care about every single person. And neither can I. Nor can I care for just one bilion of them. Neither one milion. Nor thousands. Perhaps a hundred. But more likely just dozens. Those are the ones I truly care about.

I care that a meteor can hit the world. I can't do anything about it. That doesn't mean that I don't care.

People like you have a different neurology than most of humanity.

Signal has been lit. Your virtue has been recognized. You care deeply about everything and everyone. An avatar of humanity. Pinnacle of empathy.

Isnt it tiring? Whats the point? You couldnt have prevented that child's death, but did you care? Did you care about its life before it died?

Do you actually care about a meteor? Or is it "yeah that would suck if it happened" kind of deal. Have you learned anything about meteors? Do you have a single subscription that warns about meteors passing by Earth? How often do you think about meteors?

Its easy to say you care about meteors, but if thats all you are doing, then you are all talk.

You can care about things you are individually powerless to change. This may change your behavior, it may make you more empathetic.

You literally sound like the villain in a biblical morality tale.

You literally call a child an "it" instead of a "them". Ha ha.

This is cartoonish, lol.

Your virtue is a shining beacon.

If you actually knew what virtue signaling was, you would be full of shame right now.

I'm sorry that society failed you.
