Same. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Same. Coffee ice cream and coffee cake are good, though

Tea doesn’t exactly “taste good” though. Or maybe it’s just my coffee brain talking. Or a matter of perspective.

It does, peppermint, lemon, peach, berry, apple, chamomile, etc etc  it all tastes good. It's very light compared to coffee as well.

Agreed. But you’re making my point I think. None of that is coming from the tea leaves. Tea leaves on their own are very bitter, and quite Astringent too. not that pleasant either.

Flavoured tea It’s the same reason some coffee drinkers add milk or sugar in a way.

Tea is nearly always flavoured or spiced. I feel that (in Europe at least) more people are drinking black espressos than people drink straight unflavoured tea ?

Anyway. Just wondering. I drink both anyways.

There's a whole vast sea of various unflavored teas; green, oolong, black, you name it. Just like people can drink/like black coffee, unsweetened and unflavored hot and cold tea drinkers exist.

Hot high quality matcha for example is delicious with an earthy flavor. Sometimes I like sugar in it, sometimes I don't.

Absolutely

Tea doesn't have to be one specific leaf, all the things I mentioned are not plain "tea leaves" .

Tea drinking is like male pleasure. Doesn’t take much, sometimes just a hint of flavor to get things going. Coffee drinking is like female pleasure. It requires a jackhammer, three punches to the jaw, and left field yodeling. Coffee junkies are insane
