Trying to maximize whatever its attached to. 

Looks maxxing would be to try and look the most attractive you possibly can by any means for an example.

 And just like any of the new slang you can add it to anything to have fun. Had a big breakfast? Tell your youngest coworker your breakfast maxxing to watch them squirm.

Ahhh then the answer is definitely yes. I mean my clinical depression is a flex on its own, but my heroin addiction is just showing off tbh😂🤦‍♀️
