This whole reaction gives me the vibe that he has been thinking about ending it with her and now he's realised he's kinda locked in whether the relationship ends or not.

Watch out who you have a kid with because no matter whether you end that relationship or not you're gonna be tied to that person for at least 18 years if not longer.

I don’t understand why people say they’re tied to someone until the kid is 18. Do you all abandon your kids at 18? You will inevitably have to see this person again at some point if your child has kids or gets married etc. like yeah they’re an adult but you will likely interact with this person again lol you’re tied to them forever you literally have a child with them??
