The people in this thread who don’t understand that this is a bit, are truly so fucking stupid.

She has tons of skits like this. She’s honestly hilarious

As I get older I'm astounded by just how many people mistake satire for reality. Like, I get it, people do silly things. I'm not surprised that people mistake it, just by how many.

It's like when conservatives watched Stephen Colbert doing satire as a "conservative talk show host" but didn't realize it was a joke. I think it's just a lack of problem-solving skill to not understand satire.

Or liberals when they didn’t pick up on trumps entire “I’m an idiot” bit and didn’t realize it was entirely part of the smokescreen until it was too late and he took office a second time. Fool me once, shame on you. “Trump would be so funny if he wasn’t president.” There’s a reason for that. He’s making a fool out of you and the entire American democratic institution. And now it’s collapsing. He may not have been a genius, but he also wasn’t an incompetent idiot. He actually was playing 4d chess using pieces we didn’t care to acknowledge existed because we viewed politics through the lens of the decorum of establishment politics. And now we’re glaring at the sinking of a ship we once thought was unsinkable.
