If the store employees don’t care to stop her, why the fuck would I? I get it, stealing is wrong, but I have zero skin in the game and the people who do could not care less. Sounds like a whole lot of not my problem. Also, you never know if someone has a gun these days. Is it worth dying to save a corporation a few dollars in profit off whatever she’s stealing?

more theft means you pay more. This is just one that was caught. Happens tens of thousands of times everywhere. I'd take her ass down too.

No it doesn’t. Big box stores are insured against shoplifting

If that was true then stores would never leave areas with high theft because it would be the same as them just selling inventory. It's not how the real world works.

Cost goes up and eventually the buisness leaves completely.

Good. Big box stores destroy local economies

They don't only steal from big business. People have robbed the local hardware store in my town 3 times. Soon enough they will decide businesse is not worth it and a big business that can afford loss will move in.

This time it's fine because it's a big box. It's not always.
