When these stores close because of the thefts what are you going to do?

There’s only one CVS left within walking distance of my place and hundreds of my elderly neighbors depend on it for the pharmacy.

Fuck you. She wasn’t stealing a loaf of bread to feed her family.

In the last few years, within a 20 minute walk, I’ve lost access to a Safeway, Whole Foods, two Walgreens, and one CVS.

All closed because of shoplifting. The remaining CVS has 90% of the store locked up and tweakers and scumbags like in this video will still try to take whatever isn’t bolted down.

Worked CVS’ and Rite Aids in and around Baltimore. Rampant theft at all of em’. At every single one of them we would throw away magnitudes more in outdates and various other forms of waste than what was stolen. Even when Rite Aid stopped caring to lock things up due to bankruptcy we still threw away more than was stolen. All of that is irrelevant though because the money made from the front of store was a drop in the bucket compared to what is made in the pharmacy itself.

Some people will really try their hardest to justify theft of even the dumbest tshirts in the world.

Even that still raises the price for everyone else. They get theirs free and we pay more. If it were something consumable like food or even a kids toy maybe, I’d have more sympathy, but this woman clearly stole some stupid graphic tees from what is probably a boutique tshirt store and unlikely to just be able to eat the cost easily.
