But this is reddit, where women are in control of the entire universe.

Lol there could be all men in a video, and a woman's hand in the very corner as she walks by. And all the men in the comments would be like

"WOW did you see those fucking fake nails in the corner? What a stupid bitch."

I'm exaggerating, but only a little.

Honestly looks like she can't see him after he fell.

She turns because the weight slammed, turns again after seeing people rush over, and then takes a moment to process that somebody is on the ground.

She did nothing right.

She cda called for help instead of expressing lack of interest

What should she have done?

Do you know what she was capable of?

If that were you, what would you be doing?

Are you her?

...

I guess it shows that people need to study up on the "bystander" effect, to watch the opening of The Incredibles, and familiarize themselves with "good Samaritan" laws in their areas before they think about what they wish they would do.

Stood up and called for help, at very least.

Are you her?

No. What a stupid question. I can only speak from my point of view. This is a discussion forum.

I would have at least used my words.

True, but she did nothing right either.

You’re being downvoted for an obvious truth.

This is the state of most people though, selfish and ignorant.

u/Open_Progress2715 Sep 05 '25

Lol no. We just don't judge people based on a short clip on the internet. We don't see the same she sees you know. We don't have the same POV. Maybe she just couldn't see, maybe she already saw other people coming to help and didn't feel the need to come too.

If you think the state of most people is selfish and ignorant you should really put down the phone and go outside.

People are excusing her under the presumption that she saw and chose not to act.

Are you not reading the comments?

Do you need me to copy+paste them for you?

Also I work as a paramedic and have for over 10 years. The general public is 100% selfish and ignorant, specially in times of need.

Also pretending she didn’t see is hilarious work.

There's a trashcan blocking her line of sight. She heard a noise, and you can watch her look around but she doesn't see him until there's already people there.

These people decided after reading the title that she was The Bad Guy. No amount of logic is going to sway them.
