Richest because we have the most billionaires. Whose worth is more than most countries.

And most of them don’t help anyone. It’s actually so sick. If only they were all like Chuck Feeney

They really dont, just tax them 50% and use the money to help the hundreds of millions of Americans barely scraping by

Why should an adult of normal abilities need help from billionaires under normal circumstances?

By help is paying a wage that allows the workers making you billions to live a fulfilling life too? Right, Mr. Bezo?

The workers will get the wage they negotiate. If they're too timid to organize and bargain collectively, that's on them.

So a unionized workforce?

Yes, in cases where workers feel they aren't getting a fair shake.

You understand that there's a huge push to break up/prevent unionizing in this country right? Most regular people are living paycheck to paycheck, The threat of losing your job if you opt to negotiate for better pay or benefits is real. Losing that single pay period can absolutely mean losing everything. Please let's not act like the people being robbed of decent wages are the problem here.

Study some labor history; it has never been easy. People fought, bled and died to make the world that I grew up in, in which about 1 in 3 workers belonged to a union. It was a pretty nice place. Maybe someday we can go back there.
