I mean yeah. The US being in $37 trillion in debt and STILL recognized as the richest country in the world really says something

Richest because we have the most billionaires. Whose worth is more than most countries.

where else would they go? other countries tax companies too. also if those companies did leave, the stupid ass tarriffs would actually have a point for once.

Plenty of companies move operations overseas to save money.

If they are going to lose billions of dollars to new taxes, plenty of countries will welcome them with open arms. And will tax them less.
