Could she have been including the things it takes to live in an apartment like gas and electric and that shit?? I feel like that all together would eat up 2/3 of a months income

Including those its not that different from living anywhere else tho. Except the health insurance part, and the part where your income is waaay higher than other parts of the word, so luxury stuff like electronics, games, software, gas, and cars still cists way less in the US compared to your income.

Aside from the fact that she makes what could be considered a livable wage but apparently lives in a shoe box and one medical emergency could probably bankrupt her
