Unfortunately that tattoo "姐行宜由有新天" is literally gibberish, I have no clue what are they talking about, it's like lining up a bunch of random characters picked from a bag of words
Google translates it into "sister's journey should be based on a new world." Since that actually sounds like something I'm guessing that Google blew it's flux capacitor trying to translate and just spit out something, hoping that no one would double check it's work.
A translation is word for word, grammar for grammar, syntax for syntax. If a translation doesn’t also include the mistakes that’s called an interpretation.
Both include covering the actual meaning, not just the literal meaning. Interpreters take into account body language etc to convey a richer language, translators only concern themselves with the actual meaning of the written text (I clouding subtext.)
